After their hardest three-game stretch of the season, the Vikings coasted through their easiest three-game stretch.
Coming out of their bye, the Vikings won their past three games, all at the Metrodome, by an average of 23 points.
“It was huge,” Vikings receiver Sidney Rice said. “Good teams win at home.”
Vikings cornerback Cedric Griffin said a month without a road game helped the players get their legs back.
“That airplane takes a lot out of guys,” he said.
Now, though, is another challenging stretch, with three of the next four games on the road.
The Vikings will head to Arizona to face NFC champion Arizona and then host the AFC North-leading Cincinnati Bengals before heading to Charlotte, N.C., to face the Carolina Panthers.
